The Classic Sport was designed in 1935 and remains unchanged. It is simple and unpretentious though a beautiful writer all the same. It is 10.5cm long when the cap is on and is 13.3cm long when the cap is removed and 'posted' on the end of the barrel. It is made of tough ABS plastic.

The cap screws off to reveal a stainless steel, iridium tipped nib made by the Bock family of Heidelberg, Germany. These nibs are very famous and well reputed for their consistency. An iridium tip protects the nib from abrasion by contact with paper. The nib matched the clip and detail, rendered in an elegant gold.
